We would like to say a big well done and thank you to Andy Sison for agreeing to run the London marathon on behalf of the NGVFA. Andy finished the race in 5 hours 5 minutes and 22 seconds, which is fantastic for his first London marathon.

Andy has raised £735.00 on his justgiving webpage - so a big thank you to everyone who has donated. We have also been advised by Andy that the Matthew Good Foundation, which is a foundation set up by the company he works for, will match the amount raised - which is absolutely fantastic news.

** UPDATE: ** Please see the link above for the Matthew Good Foundation website and select the National Gulf Veterans & Families Association entry under "Latest News", which is the entry that has been included in the foundations' newsletter for Andrew Sison's London Marathon run. In total Andy raised £735 on his just giving webpage and the Matthew Good Foundation matched the total as at 1st May, which was £715, so a big thank you to the foundation.
