NGVFA Member Shaun Foulds again managed to get The Pavillion Café in East Park, Hull, to kindly agree to sell raffle tickets for the NGVFA from 7th November until the raffle was drawn on Tuesday 11th December. Shaun was at the café each Saturday to help sell the tickets for Margo and the staff as they have an influx of joggers on a Saturday morning so are a little busy!! I went along on 1st December to sell tickets, with Jimmy and the dog in tow.

Some of the prizes are gifts that have been donated to the charity over the years by generous members and donators, so a big thank you to you.

UPDATE

Well I did it!! I managed to stay upright whilst doing Tai-Chi but I really enjoyed it and the class were very friendly and are a great bunch to be around. After the class ended we all headed to the Pavilion Café in East Park to have our Christmas Lunch and it was amazing! Thanks to Alan for the tip on the tomato and vegetable soup (which was gorgeous) and the main meal was amazing (the turkey just melted when you cut it and the stuffing went down well too).

After the meal the raffle was drawn and there were a mixture of winners from the Hull class, the Barton class and people who had bought tickets from the café. Well done to all the winners but a big thank you to everyone who bought tickets and donated money, the staff and members of the NGVFA really appreciate your support.

I would also like to say a big thank you to Margo, Alan, John and the ladies of the Pavilion Café in East Park who not only put on a wonderful meal but are also raising funds for the NGVFA through various events and collection tubs. We really appreciate all you are doing for us.
