My Daughters' poem
sent in by Anthony Bailey

The clock ticked on,
the train rolled by.
To see all them faces.
Trying not to cry.

The clock ticked on,
the train rolled by.
Off into the distance.
They had said goodbye.

Happy and jolly,
no doubt no regret.
Too excited to think,
about what may happen yet.

Happy and jolly,
no doubt no regret.
singing and dancing.
and they had all just met.

Suddenly scared,
worried and sad.
Flashes in the distance.
Will it be bad?

Suddenly scared,
worried and sad.
Its not what they thought.
It will be bad.
